All our work is carried out voluntarily by our members with boots on the ground. 100% of donations go directly to those in need.
Since our founding, La Unión USA has transformed our members’ experience and love for the Dominican Republic into concrete, practical actions. All projects are carried out on a volunteer basis by our members, who travel with their “boots on the ground.” 100% of donations go directly to those in need: we have no paid staff or overhead costs.
Police Training & Equipment
We have provided specialized training to the Dominican National Police in six cities: Santo Domingo, La Vega, San Francisco de Macorís, Bonao, Barahona, and San Pedro de Macorís.
We have donated bulletproof vests, handcuffs, batons, and other critical gear.
Disaster Response
After the devastating explosion in San Cristóbal, we mobilized immediately. We provided medical supplies to the hospital Burn Unit and direct financial assistance to devastated families.
Community Development & Education
We regularly donate school supplies, toys, basketballs, wheelchairs, hospital equipment, and medical supplies.
